ROLEX MIDDLE SEA RACE  2024

   17 - 26 October 2024 / Valetta, Malta

The most beautiful 606 NM race course in the world (€ 2541,00*)

A must do race for every racing sailor. The Rolex Middle Sea Race course is approximately 606 nautical miles long and is sailed anti-clockwise around Sicily, starting from Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malta. Encountering active volcanoes, rugged islands and a variety of wildlife, before finishing where it starts.

​​

​This race is suited for sailors with inshore racing experience and basic offshore sailing experience. Night sailing and offshore racing experience are preferred but no requirement to take part. A basic knowledge competent crew is the minimum requirement to come along. The rest of the skills can be taught on the boat.

The regatta holds a mix off coastal, inshore en offshore races

  • Saturday October19th Race start

  • Wednesday October23th - arrival *

  • Thursday October 24th - Friday October 25th - discovery of Blue Lagoon and the island of Gozo *

  • Saturday October 26th - Prize-giving Ceremony

Sailing boots and clothes

Trainers / deck shoes (no black soled shoes – they mark the deck)

Personal stuff should fit in an10 L bag (max):

  • Sun glasses (polarized)

  • Sun cream – SPF50+

  • Small quick dry towel

  • USB cord to charge your phone
